The "One-Earth-Altar" consists of a winged triptych of double walled high-grade steel (glas bead - blasted) and perspex sized 7.32 m in length, 4.07 m in height and 0.15 m in depth with 7000 earth-books arranged in pockets of 8 columns and 23 rows (17 in each wing), each pocket containing 43 earth books. As the weight of the earth-books is expected to sum up to several tons the centre part of the altar (3.66 m x 4.07 m) is anchored into the bottom concrete and into the background apsis with 5 anchors each. The closable wings (1.81 m x 2.74 m) are mounted to the centre part of the altar with tape hinges. Statics are calculated for 7 metric tons.
