Marianne Greve lives and works in Hamburg.

Studied biology in Göttingen and Kiel and art in Hamburg. Since 1982, numerous scholarships, exhibitions, performances, lectures, projects and receptions in Germany and abroad.

Her multifaceted work comprises processual and experimental links in ongoing series, which, in addition to different materials and techniques, also deal with various themes and questions of our relationship between nature and culture in art and science.

These groups of works can be interrupted and continued at a later point in time, so that they can constantly influence and develop over a long period of time as if in a dialog.
